Drawn Together?

Anyone catch this? It's a 'reality' show with carton characters from a few different genres/times. We have a betty boop homage, a pickachu homage, jose and the cats, a disney princess, an internet porno pop up ad, zelda wannabe and a superman spoof.

Funny yet odd at the same time, bordering almost a little too much on the edge for my taste.

I've seen a few episodes too. I like the idea, but the "humor" is way too crude for my tastes. And most of the time it's not even funny - it's just being extremely crude for the sake of being extremely crude.

Sometime the 'humor' is mainly of the 'gross you out school' (a la Jackass).

But, often it's really funny. Like how South Park (mostly) manages to dp some really gross things that are funny DESPITE being gross; not funny BECAUSE they are gross.

I hope they keep up with the funny bits & just go with the "How Gross can We be this week?" bits.

PS. The new season starts tonight.

Daily Show, CoBert Report, Mind of Mencia, Drawn Together, South Park. Comedy Central has more good shows than all the networks put together.

I downloaded a few of the episodes and thought they were really funny - I'm hoping to pick up the first season for xmas.

There's times when it's gross out and not so funny, but the combination of the cross-parodying the various genres of cartoons, and the parodying of reality shows, really seemed to work.

Spanky Ham makes the show for me. I've seen, oh, maybe a third of them. Zander trying to kill himself was pretty funny, as he tries to go through all 100-something 'lives' he has.

I found it just in bad taste. Now, some people can do bad taste in a funny way and that's great, they just do bad taste in a bad way.
