Always wondered what Drizzt would look like in 3rd Edition.

This is great, I have been an avid follower of R.A. Salvatores Drizzt Books since I read the Crystal Shard trilogy. I was wondering how you managed to come up with his stats and abilities ? Did you just use the books, then visualise and adapt from them ? OR. Did you transpose the stats from 2nd edition in the FRCS ? In any case I think you have them right and he seems very capable, even with out his Fighter Levels, but was that right ? Does he really get 8 attacks a round ? Good Work !!! :D

Re: Always wondered what Drizzt would look like in 3rd Edition.

I took a look at the "official" stats posted on WOTC's website, recognized that those stats seemed a bit out of date (i.e. didn't include info or items from several of his adventures), and came up with the stats I posted.

While Drizzt could be a multi-class character with levels of Barbarian, Fighter, Ranger, etc., I wanted to do the character as a pure ranger.

Also, as the best warrior in the Forgotten Realms, it seemed obvious to me that Drizzt would be an epic level character, even though the FRCS and Epic Handbook seemed to have forgotten about his epic status.

And, yes, with the epic Perfect Two Weapon Fighting feat, Drizzt gets 8 attacks per round.
