Druids and Bards (Malcolm_N versions and others)

I happen to play in a great game which we would like to convert to 4E. Now the problem is 2 of the 3 player's are playing classes which don't exist in 4th Edition yet.

Now I looked through a "Updated Classes OCC" pdf file created by Malcolm_N and VBMEW-01, and I liked what I saw.. however, that document only lists 1st level abilities and power choices, and I was wondering if anyone else had been dabbling with druids or bards, or if there are other discussions going on about them, or other attempts at re-creating them for 4E?

I can't use the site's search feature, and apologize in advance if there are already threads about this.

No problem man. the only reason for nothing past 1st level was no rules. We have some more now, so I'd be willing to get started on something past that level, though I can't make any guarantees until we get definite rules from the books. :) Thanks, btw, i have something to do at work today now. I'll get back to you on these later.

Very glad to hear you like them.

Awesome :D

If I get time later, I will be throwing in some ideas as well, but yeah, having the books will certainly help with balance etc.

I'm looking forward to following it all :)

Here's what I got this afternoon for the bard. Any particular level I should work to for your needs so that I can start on the druid? :) Let me know what you think. The Versatile Attacks (encounter and daily) are that way on purpose based on the versatility option you chose at level one. If you take the Beloved musician option, the character can take the other Encounter or Daily suggested. Also, I'll add these to the OCC later so that it's in one doc. I just posted them here for ease of reference on both our parts.

Malcolm . . .

Any chance I can talk you into sending me what you have re your most recent 4E bard? A friend of mine was bitching about 4E's bardlessness and I was going to see what I could do about it . . . was thinking that some general warlord/rogue combo re inspiriing warlord general feel, just less powers to balance out the expanded skill list . . . but why re-invent the wheel if you've got something going? :)

Thanks -- if you can, pls email to goblindefense AT goblindefensefund.org.
