That IS really cool, and ditto on the Happy Belated Birthday.
Not sure why, though, but when I clicked on this thread, I had it in mind that "Dru's Awesome Birthday Present" was going to be a homebrew spell, like "Otto's Irresistable Dance" or "Tasha's Hideous Laughter." Now, since it isn't already, I think you've inspired me:
Dru's Awesome Birthday Present
Conjuration
Level: Sor/Wiz 1
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 3 rounds (the time to sing "Happy Birthday" and then say a magic word, which together constitute the Verbal Component)
Range: Close
Target: Someone who's birthday is the day of casting
Duration: See Text
Saving Throw: None
This spell effects a small, decorated wooden box (the material component, costing 20 gold) . The box is then presented to the "birthday boy or girl." Opening the box reveals a 8-sided numbered polyhedron, which upon being rolled by the box recipient into the box, disappears and one of the following things occurs:
On these results, these items appear in the box:
1 Bundle of a number of candles equal in number to the new age. They are never consumed by flame
2 A sweetcake that when consumed acts as a potion of Enlarge (1st Level)
3 A whistle that, when blown, casts Unseen Servant (1st Level) ONE TIME
4 A hat that, when worn on the recipient's birthday, causes anyone who desires to speak to the recipient to have to say, "Happy Birthday!" first, even if they have no idea that it is their birthday. (Will Save DC15+caster level negates)
On these results, these happen:
5 A table appears in an available adjacent 5ft square. On the table is an everfull pitcher of lager, an everfull platter of a bread that is covered with meat, cheese, and tomato sauce, a cake, and a number of plates and steins equal to one plus the caster level. All that is not consumed disappears after 24 hours.
6 A series of fireworks (illusion) and other illusions come out of the box for 1 hour. They are only visible to people within 60 ft of the recipient, and Will negates per person.
7 The recipient gains 4 Points of Charisma until midnight - anyone influenced with this improvement will remain so until at least the next sunrise
8 The caster is polymorphed into a common donkey until midnight
Only one instance of this spell can be cast on any given person per caster.
