Rosalia straightens a bit as the word "guard" is said.

"Hum, a guard? I see.. well.. well met Sir.. I'm Rosalia.. " she says with a charming smile.
"Are you planning to join our little company?"

Once she's reassured by the newcomer's intentions, she looks around, checking that no one is paying attention to them and says in a very low voice. "Listen.. I brought you here because I found some crazy stuff in the bedroom where the victim was murdered.."

She shows the small bag she had found in the bedroom and opens it to reveal its contents:
- a seal of office used by agents of the Order of the Sable March,
- a letter,
- a map depicting a clearing only a few hours away
and a pendant with the symbol of Tsathzar Rho.

She reads the letter slowly to her comrades:
"Sentri, you were right to send me this way to investigate the disturbing rumors. I thought they were the result of superstitious hill folk, but I have discovered a conspiracy of local cultists intent on reviving forces that should long have been left to rest, and will send you a pendant I took from the corpse of a cultist that refused to surrender. They are gathering to practice their sacred ritual soon, but I fear I would be outnumbered if I were to face them on my own. However, I have heard of a group of adventurers that have been sent to investigate some of these chaotic occurrences, and should they return I expect to measure their worth and their righteousness. If they seem dependable I will explain that they should trust no one as I do not know who the cult is connected. I will then explain why we must stop the ritual, and for their aid in raiding the ancient place of worship. I will continue this note with a report on whether or not I succeeded to meet with them before heading forth to do battle for the empress and the realm."

"I also got the information that a rough-looking elf with scar over an eye and a short sword on his side seemed particularly interested by the victim according to the innkeeper."

She holds the pendant in her hand and says: "I was hoping not to have to deal with these guys again..."

Roque raises his glass to the fallen Paladin. As the troll eats the drink, mug and all he tries not to look too startled, but only partially succeeds.

To Rosalia he says "Roque Hawley, pleased to meet you." He shrugs, "I've been given a little time off and the things I've heard have me curious, so yes if you'll have me, I'd like to help." He listens to her evidence with obvious curiosity. "So this Tsathzar Rho and his followers are known to you?"

He tells her what the prisoner said. Looking at the map he adds, "So could this be where the summoning the prisoner talked about is supposed to take place?"

"Oh, this Tsathzar Rho is most definately known to us. I have seen him. Our paladin fell to his hand."

You take a closer look at the map and recall what you know of the clearing where the Standing Stones are. Once a place of great druidic power, the standing stones still retain much of their ancient majesty. But the history of the stones are shrouded in mystery. Strange visions are said to be held by those who sleep near the stones, and being amongst the rocks cause most people to feel a sense of unease that they have trouble explaining. If the ceremony is to take place at midnight tonight, it will be a steady march for you to make it in time to see the final preparations being made.

"Should we go have a look?" asks Roque.

"We need supplies and then a force march there. Never enough time."

Scrag grunts and stands. Should anyone care to notice, the others realize that Scrag has not spent his share of the treasure from their last adventure. In fact, given what they about him, it seems likely he doesn't even know how.

Rosalia listened to what the others had discovered and the clues were just piling in front of them! She wondered how the Watch could always find it difficult to catch criminals!

The information about a ceremony tonight was important and meant that they had little time to prepare or build a plan. Rosalia comments, her lovely face getting very serious: "We have to hurry and I don't like that!
We have no information about this cult. We have no allies and no official back-up. We're on our own just like in that terrible place..."

She turns to Grok: "Grok, you're a priest. What do you know about that cult? I mean, we're trying to stop a ceremony and maybe disable some of the leaders. I am a girl of the Streets, I barely know my prayers.. What are we supposed to do to stop them? Is it just a question of brute force? And what about some magical scouting? To gather some information before we go.."
