I might know. If it's part of an adventure, I don't know. If it's a wandering monster feature, I think I know which 'loth it is. James could confirm if I do in fact know or not, but in any event, I wouldn't be free to say till the issue itself is out in print.

They do. There's a picture of the wizard and the monk fighting them in Iggwilv's library, actually. The apprentices are, alas, having a rough time of it. Bigby's Grasping Hand will do that to ya...

Dergholoths are fun. I had one of my players refer to them as "Linda Blair'gholoths". I looked at them funny and their reply was "The spinny head!".
And here's to the really overwhelming hope that the other one I sent in that won't get published might work its way into WotC's DI if they're ever handed a stack of submissions left over from Dungeon. Especially because in that one I tried to add a decent chunk of lore on it, and at the same time give a formal slot in the 'loth hierarchy to it and to echinoloths. Time shall tell.
