If they do a print version, I'll likely change my mind. But electronic? Never.
Same goes for Dragon.
Man, this depresses me.![]()
Shawn_Kehoe said:Well, OK ... but if the electronic magazine format fails, we shouldn't expect the print magazine to return. The modern print magazine business is much, much more expensive to start up in today than it was in 1976, and if Wizards were to try to resume print operations a year from now, that's what they would be regarded as: a new magazine.
I think the best approach is to check out what Wizards offers, while supporting offshoots like Kobold Quarterly and Pathfinder - it might not be what we're used to, but it's what we've got. But hey, it's your money, and I respect that.

I agree.
I may be upset at the magazine loss, but damn it, I am going to get my D&D fix no matter where it goes (unless it's 4E, in which case WotC loses a customer for life). I'm a sucker for new prestige classes, rules, feats, spells, and material like Demonomicon, Class Acts, and Forgotten Realms material. If what WotC is stating is true (that they will offer this and MORE due to the fact there's no "page space" limitations) then I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and try this DI for awhile.
Since they said they're trying to be more in touch with their customers, I believe everyone who tries DI has the power to change it to their liking since WotC is going to rely on US (yes, all of us!) to help make it better!
