[Dungeon #97] The new adventure line?

Quick question about the adventure and the Paizo website — do you all have any plans to put maps on-line at any point? How about the player handouts (in the case of Life's Bazaar, I'm thinking mostly of the graphical ones — the Jzadirune map and runes)? Just curious; I think that maps had been on the old Dungeon website and that was a really great resource. :)

thanks,

I'll second that. That would be really nice.

Also, I LOVE the poster/battlemat. Please keep doing this!

I was really impressed by "Life's Bazaar". I usually skim D20 materials, only reading them closely if I'm going to use them soon. While I didn't read every word, I came close with this one. If the rest of the series is this good, it'll be quite the achievement. There was so much great flavor in this thing, and everything gelled together. What else has Christopher Perkins written? I'm sure I've come across the name before. I'd be interested in looking at the rest of his work...

Maps, please!

I just want to pipe in and agree that I would love it if the player handouts were online so I could print those out. That would be wonderful!

Really like the idea of this Adventure Path and the quality of Dungeon in general. Keep it up!

Thanks!

UK subscribers still getting stuffed

Thanks for all this info about Dungeon, which us poor UK subscribers are still not receiving.

As Dungeon staff are visiting these boards, perhaps they can explain the lies currently being repeated by their bosses.

The lack of Dragon and Dungeon in UK mailboxes is reaching the point where many of us will not be renewing, because Paizo cannot get their act together.

Paizo's suggestion that we subscribe in the US and then claim back the excess charges later is plainly ridiculous. We subscribe to save money, not loan it to Paizo until they can sort what was a foreseeable event.

Own up. You didn't do your homework before you took these mags on, did you?

Chris Perkins rules. He's written way too many adventures over the years to list, first a freelancer with Dungeon, and then he was the editor for a while before he switched over to the now-defunct Star Wars Gamer mag. He's also done some work with Planescape and Alternity - I think he did Planet of Darkness, which was a cool module. Off the top of my head, the only 3e-era Dungeon adventure that I can think of is "Tears for Twilight Hollow", which he co-wrote with Angela McCoy. It's a Forgotten Realms adventure, but well worth adapting for other campaign worlds -- I'm planning to do so myself.

I hope no one else said that already...

After looking through the Web Enhancement for Life's Bazaar, I noticed something about the stats of the half-elf wizard - at 12th level, he has an Int score of 20. Assuming that the standard array of 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 was used - and the rest of the stats seem to indicate that - he could only have an Int of 18. Maybe in 3.5, half-elves get a +2 Int bonus?

Summary

Hey guys

I havent received my Dungeon 97 yet and am thrilled about this new series.

Could anyone shoot me a quick summary of the adventure?

also, does this first adventure take your characters from 1st to 2nd level or does it take the characters to 3rd level, like their originally published adventures.
