There were some I liked a lot, and some I found downright dreadful. Fortunately - and this, I think, is a strength of the DCC business model, in contrast to the superior but less well marketed Necromancer modules - the investment is low enough not to feel cheated if you get one of the weaker ones.
If there should be any specific criyticism regarding content, I
a) agree with a lot of what T. Foster wrote - challenges should be less about just adding numbers, even in the d20 versions; e.g. Bloody Jack's Gold was entirely silly in this respect;
b) also, the maps are disappointingly new-school, with little of the side-tracks and hidden nooks that make the 1e modules feel more alive. Maybe the designers should pay more attention to this aspect more, and think about the modules as less "story" and more "freeform environment" (i.e. a sandbox).
Nonetheless, there are quite a few modules I was/am very impressed wit, conversion efforts notwithstanding!
