[Dungeon] Dungeon/Polyhedron Goes Monthly

flip covers

I also like the flip covers, makes things easier to know what half I am reading just by a quick glance. If I get to a page that is upside down, then I already know I went to far if I am looking for something specific, and it makes it easier to organize.

So, if your taking votes on what to do, I vote to keep them split the way they are.

As I am not intrested in the Poly content, I wont be buying the 1/3 Dungeon issues. I was somehow sceptical of the whole thing when they said that the Poly won't cost as anything.. yeah right ;)

Sounds good to me! The quality of the magazine has been kept up, and now I'll be seeing the magazine in my mailbox more often? Great! Plus those extra bonuses we subscribers are getting is icing on the cake! Thanks!

I just subscribed to Dun/Poly, and I must say that I am thrilled with this change. I don't get a lot of chance to use the adventures, but I enjoy them and plan on using them someday. And I LOVE the minigames and Modern content. Plus, monthly just plain rocks! :)

However, my initial plan would have done nothing for the increasing percentage of readers who liked both sides of the magazine and enjoyed the fresh ideas found under both titles.

I'm one of those readers, and it would have made me very happy, at least, so don't say, "nothing."

Your current plan sounds like the next best thing.

I also like the flip covers

I also like the flip covers as well, unfortunately I'm a subscriber. :(

That two mag thing would have solved that problem, as well as it just being cool to have the cool mini-games seperate from the cool D&D adventures.

Still, like I said, next best thing...

The only problem I have with this, is the extra content for subscribers only. I for one, relish my monthly trip to the flgs where I pick up KODT, Nodwick, Dragon, Dungeon, and usually some new product that catches my eye. So, for supporting my local store, which really isn't local, its a bit of a drive, I get less content?

Johnny, I just wanted to post again on this subject to say thanks.

Since Paizo has taken over publishing the magazines, it seems like you guys have gotten a lot of flak (or at least that the flak has been what's come through the loudest). Well, I just want to take a time out to publically mention that I think you guys are doing a great job. You still put out the issues on time every month, and the quality of the magazines hasn't dropped, either in the physical respect (the full-color interiors and glossy covers, etc) nor in terms of content (I think the latest round of articles has been better than ever).

Now, we're going to be seeing even more Dungeon and Polyhedron material, and the cover price is going down, something virtually unheard of in magazine sales. To call that terrific is an understatement. Like I said before, I thought Dungeon should have gone monthly a long time ago, and I'm loving the new face of Polyhedron with the mini-games. To be getting that more often than before is, IMHO, a great thing, no if's, and's, or but's about it.

Give yourself and everyone else over there at Paizo Publishing a big pat on the back. You guys deserve it for giving us all so much.

Apart from the UK subscribers, to dragon, of course, who are still waiting for isue 301 onwards, have had their legitimate complaints ignored, and have been treated very poorly.

I have already logged complaints with the office of unfair trading, and my MP is also investigating this blatent disregard for customer rights.

Sort this out NOW, or my MP will.

I'm with the people on the positive side of things.

My only problem with it is figuring out when my subscription ends, but it wasn't supposed to end until 2004 so I have some time.
