Like getting hit on at a nerd bar. After telling it that I didn't play Magic at all, but have played D&D for decades, I got a lot of questions about whether I think D&D (and 5th edition in particular) is holding its ground or not, and why. Then it asked for my name and gender.

The what is your age question came 95% of the way through the survey for me. If you got that question right away, it’s probably because some of your early answers screened you out of the majority of the survey. I’m guessing you don’t play Magic (roughly half the survey was about that), and maybe either don’t play 5e D&D or haven’t played it much recently.I thought it was going to be a long survey, but then I answered the "what is your age" question and it skipped me right to the end. Too real.![]()
The Magic questions were exactly the same, just about Magic, and tabletop Magic vs. MTG Arena instead of various editions of D&D.I have never played Magic. Got a lot of questions about D&D - when I started playing, what editions I've played, how much of my time is DMing vs playing, what are my favorite 5E classes and races, would I recommend D&D and 5E to others, why do I like it, do I think D&D is on its way up or down, etc.
The MTG questions came before the D&D questions…Got all D&D questions. I didnt get any MtG questions probably because during the write in for 5E I said I wasnt a fan of it and was critical of 5E. After that I got to age and gender questions then it went directly to 100%, which is exactly what I thought would happen.
