Dungeons & Dragons 3: The Temple of Elemental Evil!?!

Well, it could be like James Bond. Sony had the rights to one movie script. Thunderball. Years later, they re-made it with entirely new people (except Sean Connery) as "Never Say Never".

Anyway, in that article from a month or so ago I gues KF posted in the other thread, it mentions the company making it was thinking of making it a recurring series of sorts. Like say the Prophecy movies (the one with Jon Pertwee's kid is quite good, actually) or Wes Craven's Dracula...

Well, what else would run it?

(Must...fight....urge...to...make...obvious.....joke...)

Really though, I think much of the market for DVD sales for something like this is rental stores. I mean, yeah, in this case there is a potential buyer market. But most Direct to DVD are rental fodder.

Auuuhhhhh...I missed a good punch line

ToEE might work, but probably wouldn't be the best story.

But please, someone, put a hit out on Joel Silver. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near D&D property.

Would you rather have Solomon in charge??? Silver has to have done a better job than Solomon did.

Mr. Silver is writing and directing a D&D film? Oy vey. Maybe Silver do a better job, but we're only jumping from a oiled frying pan to a pot of boiling water.

That would be Cindy Rice. She's a long time WOTC and TSR employee. I've forgotten her current title, but she is obviously involved with the movioe sequal.

I think she spells her first name Cindi. She was involved with Ravenloft back in the day. I was surprised to see her at the screening at Gen Con, since she had seemed to vanish off the map in the last few years (I was the guy who asked her about a third D&D movie).
