The only point that stands is that you've incorrectly asserted that "official title" means "reference encyclopedia," apparently because the text in question is on the back cover of an instance of the latter (and have yet to post an image of that back cover to confirm, I'll note). Given that you can't back up that justification, this not being the first time the material in question has appeared in an official title is the only sensible conclusion.I did edit my statement slightly, but the point stands: if you can find a similar reference text, I will admit you are correct. If you cannot, I understand, then the statement that this is a first time ever product makes sense.
There are much more constructive endeavors.Sometimes we need a distraction form grass and changing diapers.
If you can provide the similar example, I am still waiting. The only point that stands is that you've incorrectly asserted that "official title" means "reference encyclopedia," apparently because the text in question is on the back cover of an instance of the latter (and have yet to post an image of that back cover to confirm, I'll note). If you can justify saying that "official title" means "reference encyclopedia," I'd be happy to hear it.If you can provide the similar example, I am still waiting.
It is text about a reference encyclopedia. Can you provide a similar example? If you can justify saying that "official title" means "reference encyclopedia," I'd be happy to hear it.
Yet the text says it's the first time in an "official title," rather than the first time in a reference encyclopedia. Can you justify substituting one for the other? It is text about a reference encyclopedia. Can you provide a similar example?
Because it is a reference encyclopedia. The art book is not. Mild exaggeration, at most. Unless you cna name a specific reference encyclopedia that is similar...?Yet the text says it's the first time in an "official title," rather than the first time in a reference encyclopedia. Can you justify substituting one for the other?
I'm glad you can admit there's a level of exaggerating going on; now we need to build on that by admitting that reference encyclopedias are just one kind of official title, and that art books are another kind of official title.Because it is a reference encyclopedia. The art book is not. Mild exaggeration, at most.
See above. The important thing is not to grant the premise that "official title," with regard to WotC products, changes meanings depending on where you read it.Unless you cna name a specific reference encyclopedia that is similar...?
