Nars moves forward to grab the coins. He does a thorough search of the chair to make sure it isn't trapped. As he reaches down to grab one of the coins it seems to split along the center, grow teeth, and bite him. The other coins on the chair animate as well and start flying around in a whirlwind around Nars, biting and scratching him as they go.

[sblock=ooc]Nars takes 6 dmg (wounding 1). The swarm is 10x10 and surrounds Nars. Anyone else wanting to attack it can.[/sblock]
 


Gorefoot moves up and takes a swing at the coins, making sure not to strike Nars.

[sblock=OOC]If he isn't able to damage the swarm, gorefoot will sheath his sword, grab Nars, and try to drag him out of the swarm/to safety.[/sblock]
 

Not again. Nars tries to beat away the attacking coins of the swarm with Felhunter. If that proves ineffective, he moves away drawing an alchemist fire and casting it back at the swarm.

OOC: I believe Nars was at 1 damage previously so he is now at 7 damage.
Attack: 1d20+7=27, 1d6+3=6
 

Ishmael stares in shock as the coins' malicious nature is revealed. When he recovers, he watches the actions of Nars carefully.

If it appears that the coins are hurt by Nars' swordblows, then Ishmael will join the fray with his warhammer.

If the coins seem immune to normal weapons, Ishmael will delay, waiting for Nars to escape so the Deep Halfling can toss his last alchemist's fire into the swarm.
 

OOC: Thanks for the bump there, Erekose. I dropped the ball on that one.

"Yikes! Nars, look out!" Percy will nail the coins with a magic missile spell.
 

Round 1

Ishmael stands stunned for a moment, then watches as the others react. He is ready to charge or chuck as the situation warrants.

Nezrak waits as well.

Gorefoot moves up to attack the swarm. His weapons swish through the coins unable to affect them much at all.

The coins naw at Nars again, feasting on his blood.

Percy casts magic missile at the swarm, but the couple of missiles seem to do little against the horde of diminuitive constructs.

Nars, seeing Gorefoot miss completely decides it would be better to flee. He moves back away from the swarm, thankfully not nauseated by the little biting coins. He grabs his flask and tosses it into the swarm igniting the little coins.

Seeing that the flame seems to work better, Ishmael chucks his in too. The coins are consumed in the fire, only a few flitter around, dissipating and falling with their burnt replicas.

[sblock=ooc]Not sure what Nezrak has left that can affect swarms with if weapons do not work. Same with Rodimus. But it doesnt matter :) That was quick!
