OOC: Nezrak to the rescue. I assume we picked up all the gems, though I'm not sure how has them. I've got this great image of everyone turning out their pockets.
IC: Nars digs through his beltpouch and pockets for a moment, but does not turn up a moonstone. When someone eventually finds it, Nars will take it an examine the dial one more time. Turning to his companions, he says, "Er, ah, stand back." He will then carefully set the moonstone in the depression, ready to jump back out of the way if it explodes or the ceiling collapses.

The gnoll leader's moonstone fits perfectly into the dial. Going on instinct, Nars turns the dial counter-clockwise. All of a sudden all seven iron caskets unlock with a loud clunk in succession!
CHUNK - CHUNK - CHUNK - CHUNK - CHUNK - CHUNK - CHUNK
Their lids remain in place, but large locking mechnisms on either side fall open.
[sblock=ooc]I had been wondering if anyone was going to do a text search by dling the thread. Thats how I found Frump's name in your game Manz, but was hesitant to use it and Eanos(?) beat me too it anyways.[/sblock]

Nars readies his weapons. They have not had such good luck with caskets this week.
OOC: I was going to page through the thread, but I didn't want to steal anyone's thunder if they actually made the intelligence roll. I wouldn't have gotten anything without the DC 15 hint though. Play by post is nice that you can look back in the thread, but in table top we probably would have found the moonstone about 3 realtime hours before being in this room so someone might have remembered.

OOC: I am going to be out of internet contact for a week, returning June 29th. Nars will continue to search, disarm, and pick lock on anything that needs it. If a fight breaks out, he will try to flank around the perimeter with Gorefoot or Ishmael using tumble as necessary to get into position. He'll try to trip anything with damage reduction using his sickle.
