E1: Tomb of Chaos [Judge: Patlin] [Concluded]

"I, er, always knew money could, ah, do bad things to ya. Never, er, though it would, ah, try to eat me though. Do we, ah, still want the, er, candle?" Nars takes the candle if directed. At least there is only one of these.

"I suppose we're up for the candle. That might be it for the day though." says Percy. She aims her crossbow at the little thing and waits.

Reaching gingerly towards the candle, Nars is surprised to find that it does not try to bite him, nor does it explode or anything so malevolent. Actually its smells quite nice. He picks it up with no trouble at all.

The crew, led by Nars, comes again to the heavy stone door. The door looks like it has been constructed of one single piece of marble. It shows obvious signs of the gnoll's attempts at forced entry. A complex series of delicately carved glyphs once adorned the centre of the door but has now been partially destroyed by the gnoll's untender ministrations, and much of it has been rendered illegible.

Nars can find no obvious handle or other means of opening it beyond its destruction.
