That depends. Dragonmarks (Abberant and otherwise) are supposed to be inheritly magical, and shift/change colors sorta like a living lava lamp in tattoo form. It'll have to be a magical tattoo, or at least made of magical materials at minimum to have any chance of impersonating a real Dragonmark.
On that note, all Abberant dragonmarks have no set pattern or shape. Each is pretty much unique, with even two marks with the same power having different shapes. So use the ones presented in Dragonmarked as a guideline, not a hard rule. Also, many Abberant dragonmarks, if not all of them, are painful on the users. Common features surrounding a Abberant dragonmark include rashes, boils, and other unpleasant (and frequently painful) blemishes
