So unlike the rest of you who the new guy will start with DR, Fire Resistance, Enervation and Dimension Door.

The book does say they are +2 ECL. This was a question that came up in the game I was running where PC's started at 3rd level. I spent a week thinking over it and even asked on this board. But basically, since Fey'ri were much better than any other +2 ECL class, I just said no.I was finding way to many things where I'd be planning encounters all around making sure that one character didn't totally dominate. At low level Flight+DR is very powerful. Then add in 4th level spells like Enervation and Dimensional Door for a 1st level characterand I think you see the trouble. Personally I think the race is -very- cool, but just to powerful.
