Electric Car Ownership - Any Experiences?

Yep. And the usual amenities of those - the coffee shops, restrooms, convenience stores and fast food joints, will still apply. Honestly, adding them to existing highway rest stops should become a no-brainer in the near future, as they already have the parking space for the amenities.

The only issue is Tesla being jerks, and making exclusive deals around charger placement. That crap has to stop.

The only thing I wonder about is the maintenance on them. When I've been paying attention it seems like I've seen a pretty high frequency of out-of-order ones.

It's a known thing, at least on the non-Tesla networks (which, since we don't own a Tesla are the ones we pay attention to).

My recollection from living in PA 30+ years ago was that WaWa was a fairly conventional convenience store chain, but I guess more modern ones are bigger and more expanded, with lots of food options, fancy coffees like a less-trendy Starbucks, etc.
I've never been to WaWa, I think I lived on the wrong side of PA. But I've been to quite a few Sheetz (Which are finally expanding into Michigan.. Hopefully they bring Yuengling with them) and a lot of them wouldn't be bad spots to hang around at.. Especially if the weather is nice. A lot of them have some outdoor seating in addition to indoor seating.

At the end of the day, it's still a gas station so not the best spot to kick it.. But could be worse.

My friends from the East Coast say WaWa is the greatest grocery store ever! I've been in one, and it was quite nice....

I have one word for you-

Buc-ee's.

Imagine if someone said, "I want the greatest convenience store ever, but make it so 'Murikuh that giant monster trucks look at it and say, 'You've gone too far.'"

Whatever you think it is, you're wrong. It's more. It's Florida Man slamming a keg of Bud while singing the national anthem and watching football, while slowly walking away from an explosion. Except as a convenience store.

... I am confused? A Hyundai Kia?

I know that they are both owned by the same chaebol (conglomerate), but they're separate brands.
And they share a lot of technology. (Not a disagreement.) Specifically, the EV batteries and motors are the same between them. (With the possible exception of Kia's EV6 GT.)

We stopped at a couple going between Maryland and Big Bend NP this past spring. This description isn't wrong.
