Elite minions

So, I was thinking about threshold damage minions. They go down when hit by an attack that does >=x damage. So by these zany and fun rules, a Vampire spawn minion (are those stats from the minis?) would have to take 10 or more damage in a single hit to go down.

The /10 is it's bloodied condition. Half it's hitpoint total. That's all that 10 means. It's not damage resistance or anything.

Minion - monsters scaled so that they can outnumber a party without overpowering them.

Elite - monsters scaled so that they can be outnumbered but still pose a challenge for the party.

Elite Minion - contradiction in terms, IMO.

Of course it contradicts in terms. But here we're talking about numbers, and an elite is 2x a standard. So en elite minion is 2x a minion, more or less 1/2 a standard.

IMO, it's always better when we got options like this. And it's always better to make these kind of exercises to check if the fabled 4e math works (and it seems it REALLY works).

EDIT: Didn't want to seem harsh, I appreciated to note how much the thing contradicts in terms, I'm just excited about the math! :)
