A nice episode, it's good to see them using races introduced in the first season. I'm also happy to say that the previews to this episode were very misleading, which was a good and a bad thing in itself.

I really enjoyed the heck outta this episode. It was kinda slow, but it got down and personal with Archer, Flox(sp?), and a little with Tapal(sp?).

It's cool to see Archer and Tapal's strained relationship slowly develop over time. There are so many racial hurdles that both of them need to overcome, but they are slowly succeeding over time. Who knows, eventually, they might even have a relationship similar to Spock and Kirk, where they only joked and playfully teased about one another's race, but in truth, they saw beyond all that. The character development is really great, albeit rather slow, but I still dig it. :)

The hyjinx with Archer and Flox was great. Seeing Sick Bay after hours and all the odd creatures Flox has and how he takes care of them is always good TV.

I didnt like it at all. I think the episode revolved way too much around the 90's trend of OVER-sensitivity to other cultures that we are having to deal with today.

For a Federation to work it would have to act more like the grat melting pot of America in the 20's not the respect everyones culture and work to preserve it crap of modern day today.

I really liked the silliness of this episode. In fact, of the second season there has only been one episode that nearly put me to sleep (The Vulcans on Earth thing).

I think the point was that the Enterprise people had to jump through hoops to get something. They aren't forming a federation yet.
