That was cool. I had a good feeling about this episode coming into it (late season ep + Borg).
About the sheilding: I'm surprised it worked at all. They had no main ship to work from and only scattered parts of themselves. To me, those were not fully functioning Borg. Proto-Borg at best, really. Give them another week and they would have turned Enterprise into scrap metal.
I REALLY liked how they showed the Borg-ified transport and the changes it underwent. It almost made me think that with enough time and parts that it could have become a fully functioning Cube all on its own.
It didn't take those 2 semi-Borg aliens long to give Enterprise a quick refit. I would imagine cellular mutation would be just a tad (but still frighteningly fast) slower.
I liked Phlox's reactions to everything. Great performance by the actor. You can tell that while Archer is still good-hearted and wants to do the right thing that he is becoming hardened by all this. That will serve him well with the upcoming plotline which I am fully intrigued by.
