Downloading a television show? I was not aware that it was illegal. I thought is was the same as taping it from TV.

When you tape a show off the original broadcast, for your own use, that's considered "fair use". When you tape it, turn it into digital media, and then allow the whole world to download it, that's unrestricted copying and distribution - most definately not "fair use".

Works for me. I have learned something today. Honestly, that's pretty interesting the way that law works. Trust me, if I knew I would have never mentioned anything about it. I have been a message board Admin for years and I know the consequences of members posting things like I did.

My apologies to all.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. Sorry for derailing the thread as well.....

continuity schmontinuity

That was a fun episode. The whole "true story/made-up story/true story" twist at the end was great, as well as the Vulcan complaining about being called "Moe."

With the amount of rampant time travel going on, the "timeline" has gone out the docking bay.

This episode was pretty cool, but it would have been better if it actually was what the tv listing said it was: Klingons landing in the 70s instead of Vulcans in the 50s. It would be pretty funny to see a Klingon war party smoking a bong or something and then completely obliviating the town :D.
