Couldn't give an exact percentage but I'm by far more often a DM than a player.

My group has occasionally tried to get other games running with someone else as a DM, but for one reason or another, they've almost all faded out.

I'm one of the few "other" votes; right now I'm 2/3 DM, 1/3 player, but that's about to change in the not-too-distant future to all-player. I hope.

Oh, and shouldn't that be DM-ographics?

I submit that it is not possible to have more people who mostly DM than those who mostly play. You only need 1 DM, and most groups have at least 4 players, many times more than that.

If this poll shows 2 to 1 in favor od mostly DM then that can only mean that EN World isn't so much a player hangout.

I've also always took it to mean that the person in a group who DMs is more likely to be an avid fan, and thus more likely to seek out multiple venues in which to discuss the game, including online message boards.

I mostly play but have ideas floating around for a couple dozen settings.

Aside from PBP, I very rarely get the chance to play, and when I do, it's Shadowrun rather than D&D. (Not that there's anything wrong with Shadowrun.)

I mainly DM.
