[ENWorld Vets] Am I the only one feeling nostalgic?

Yeah, me too. Heck, they even had a T-SHIRT!!! :)

Now, all Morrus has to do is take his current News page, run it through Altavista's German-English Translator backwards and forwards, and post it on a very slow day to see what happens... :p

Oh, that was a wonderful memory. All Hail Chalkwoman Gene! :)

Same here. I'm having more and more instances of being able to say, "I remember when...". That's a sign of being old if there ever was one.
Actually that's a sign that you're NOT old. It's when you start saying, "Get off tha grass yah lazy long-hair!" and "Turn that racket down!" and "Uh... where am I?" and "Oops..." that you may or may not know you're getting old :D

I'm feeling it, too...

And I love it. It's just like the old days, where I'd patiently wait for the page to load, praying for some new snippet of info...

I guess this makes us old in Internet Years. :)

"I Lurk!"

well met fellow Vermonter! It's a small world.

Whazzat? Huh?
You punks git the hell of mah propity or I go git mah shotgun!
Dat's right. I go git mah shotgun... I... What was I gonna git agin? Huh? Hey! Git of mah propity, durn it!!!

Oh... You sipostah be here... I guess dat's okay den. What?
Golden Hordes? Speak up, durn it! Oh! Old EN boards... Yep... I member dose days. We ustah sit round... Ustah say, "Hey! You hear dat ninja brain moles gunna be in da Monster Manual!" And dey'd be all like "Yep." And it'd gwan like dat fer days and days.

Back in dose days we didn't haff no "Master of Chains." We didn't haff no "Gem Dragons." People ustah say, "But I wanna be a Psionicist!" And we'd be all like, "Dere ain't no psionicists in 3E, boy!" Dose were de good ol' days. Yep...

I also remember with nostalgia loading the page every day, hoping for a new snippet. And attending a demo at a Con and playing a Sorcerer, and then reporting. Wait, are you sure you aren't me, Mortaneus?

My attempts to learn what 3E would be like was the reason I discovered and started posting to ENWorld.

While searching across the web for 3E related sites, I came upon one that was better than all the others, and that was ENWorld.
Here I came.
And here, I stayed.
