Well, I'm Cherokee Indian-Scots-English-Danish-Irish-French-German (mostly Cherokee Indian and Danish-Irish).

My gaming group consists of my wife (German from Russia), a Norweigian-Swede, and a Norweigien-Irish. I live in North Dakota where most everyone is either American Indian, or of Norweigien, Swedish or German descent.

Well, my son is an honorary member of En World (He's four). He's 1/4 african decent, via Puerto Rico-technically 1/2 puerto rican. I know he's going to be a gamer, since he's got a great imagination, and is always asking "to talk about games" with me. He's got my skin tone, though, which is very, very, pale.

I'm mixed Scottish/Irish/British/German. My cousin has traced back our family's geneology to such notable figures as William the Conquerer and William Wallace.

My great uncle started the Cold War- with that whole "Long Telegram" thing... but that gets into Poli Sci, if not politics.

I've got some Black Irish blood. Does that count?

Any cro-magnon features?

I'm pretty much Western European. English, French, and German that I know of. Family goes back to Ireland via Scotland and England. According to one source I ran across the name comes from the Old Irish for 'oak grove'. Which could mean I'm descended from a druid family.

Which means absolutely nothing when you get right down to it.:D

Insofar as my notable ancestors and relatives include a Duke of Brittany, the oldest of Irish bloodlines (the ones that predate history), some Earl of Somewhere English, and Captain Morgan (pirate and Governor of the Caribbean), I'm about as colourless as an anaemic cavefish that's just had a terrible shock. Same goes for everyone I've ever gamed with, I believe.

i'm part Filipino...all the way back...my ancestors ate Magellan. My grandfather was born a citizen of Spain.

I don't remember my ancestors eating Magellan. But then, we're talking about a tribal chief whose name was given to a fish or was he named after the fish?

I take my blood from the city-dwellers who lived in the marshes of Luzon and under the yoke of Rajah Sulayman. I can trace part of my heritage to the island of Panay where a thousand horror stories were made of men that turned into dogs and boars, and of flying vampire women with only the upper half of their bodies. Finally, I have some blood from the island of Mindanao, where the Muslim berzerkers (Horomentados) took rifle shots in stride to kill Spanish and American soldiers. I also take a pint or two from the Chinese, though it's not readily apparent.

Filipino? Damn straight. :)

Now that's a game setting! I know almost nothing about the Philipines.

If we're getting to the depths of our history, my family has a hrd time getting any solid information in some periods. Aparently my family long ago is a mixture of French and Spanish (Basque) blood. At some point we moved to the America's while another branch of the family moved to Scotland for Mary Queen of Scots. The American half served the Mexican lords through the rebellion, where we fought on both sides of the conflict and some of the family records were lost. In any case my half of the family ended up in Texas, and chose to side with Texas in that revolution. In these years my family was involved in just about every conflict. The other half of my family is reputedly descended from Aztec priests, but this is of course uncorroborated, just family lore. There are also tales of cuadernas in that half of my family, as long as a generation ago and though that side is far more Mexican Native/Spanish they are the ones with green eyes and blonde hair, while the other half, more Spanish/European are dark hair and eyes.

That's true. My brothers and I got into heavy gaming with Philippine history and myths. A lot of what I know about my country's history are from those sessions as well as stories that our elders would tell us.

The little strange traditions help too. When you pass by an ant hill, say "I'm just passing by" in case a fae might be living inside. Stuff like that.

I don't think any of my ancestors dined on Magellan either... then again, I've got more Chinese blood in me than Filipino.

Yeah... ain't it good to be of mixed blood? ;)
Take one part chinese, two parts malay, add a dash of spanish and a sprinkling of portugese...

Still, I'm sure that with a name like mine, I confuse the hell out of interviewers.(most of them expecting some nice italian guy, and end up with my shaved monkish head popping in for the job)
