Epic BAB

I do not know if this was done yet but here goes.
If you are a character that has 3 attacks at 20th level
when you go epic it does not give you a 4th attack eventually. Does it?

Ie a 20th level fighter has 4 attacks +20/+15/+10/+5
a 20th level bard has 3 attacks +15/+10/+5

but what does a 30th level bard have for attacks?
is it +20/+15/+10 or is it +20/+15/+10/+5?

Which is it?
I hope I have made the question understandable.

the number of attacks you have at 20th is how many you will always have.

"but what does a 30th level bard have for attacks?
is it +20/+15/+10 or is it +20/+15/+10/+5?"

THe Answer is +20/+15/+10

There is a thread in the Rules Forum that has suggestions that may or may not be strictly leagal to increase your BAB to get more attacks.

The number of attacks you have at 20th level are all you ever get. You are correct :)

Good I am not going crazy
but if you were to add the fighter and go the 20 levels of fighter/paladin/ranger/barbarian then and only then would you get the 4th attack, correct?

Base Attack Bonus stops accruing at *character* level 20. Every bonus to attack at level 21+ is an Epic Attack Bonus; which works like Base Attack Bonus in every way (i.e. for feats and so on) EXCEPT for accruing additional attacks. Same with save bonuses; those from classes stop accruing at character level 20, after 20 it's an Epic Save Bonus every other level.

So, a Bard 20 who later added Fighter 20 would still have only 3 attacks.
