Read the title of the article. It's "Epic Destinies in D&D 3.5".

Cheers, LT.
Yeah, kinda noticed that after getting done with the first destiny. Guess I was too eager.

Mentioning SR/DR/etc. made me wonder about it and I went to recheck.

I wonder if all of those are the epic destinies that will be in PHB1, or if some of them will appear in a later 4e book.

It just seems that way because Force of Nature, seems too closely tied to classes that will be in PHB2 and not PHb1.

I believe so since that is an excerpt and this is a Dragon article. Still, its some interesting 3.5e content.
The incorporation of these principles and ideas would have made the Epic Level Handbook about a zillion times better.

Cheers, LT.

Huh. Well, it's kinda neat to have a set path to demigodhood. Sort of depressing to be expected to stop playing the character just when things start to get good, though.

Alot of these classes uses terms in 3.5. Dr adamantine? DR magic? energy resistance? SP and SU abilities? is this right? it seems like this article needs to be updated for 4.0 i think.

Something to keep in mind is that these are 3.5 epic destinies. How similar these are to their 4ed counterparts mechanically speaking is anyones guess.

Heck, one or more of these may not even have a 4ed version:

ok this explains it
