D&D 3E/3.5 Epic Destinies for 3.5

I'll take Logan Bonner's challenge and guess that Mythic Shadow is the 3.5e Epic Destiny that will appear in 4e. Its mechanics translate the best into 4e rules while the other classes include abilities that I wouldn't imagine being in 4e, such as the immunity against disjunction.

And seriously, I think this is a far better Epic-Level system than what appears in the ELH or 3.5e DMG, especially since the endgame built into the system and its attendant powers are both more interesting and flavorful than the vast majority of epic powers and feats.

Interesting...

but perhaps moreso if it were April 28, 2007 or 2006 or 2005... :D

And seeing as this isn't a 4e topic, I expect it'll be moved in General soon.

Probably, but I do see the advantage of releasing this kind of information now, since incorporating 4e elements into 3.5e materials is just another way to win converts.

These are great. This is what the Epic Level Handbook should have looked like (yes, Andy Collins, you may have the 4E books but we all remember that you were the lead designer of the ELH). These would also be perfect for a campaign run in Dawnforge.

Considering I just finished watching Beowulf moments ago...

Heck yea!

I especially like the Blade of Ragnarok, though instead of being victorious and then fading off to some secret resting place, I think the hero should die too, and live on forever in story.
