D&D 3.x Epic Destinies for 3.5

I'm guessing a fair few of those might be in the PHB, although only similar in concept rather than mechanics.

And the 4e article/excerpt will be quite different - similar to the Paragon Paths article, I'm sure.

It's a great little article for a bit of 4e suggestions and 4e crunch - and I agree that this should have been written a couple of years ago! Still, it continues to make me excited about 4e.

Me too. Right now I'd settle for some idea as to whether they'll be placed in the PH or the DMG. As written, I expect the former.
Still, if some of the more interesting ones make it into 4e, I'll be happy.

If you read the article's title, you'll it is "Epic Destinies in D&D 3.5"...

If only it said so in big, bold font right at the top of the article. Maybe then people wouldn't mistake this for 4E rules.
