Atseret, servant of Osiris, devourer of the false Gods

Sorcerer10/Ur Priest2/Mystic Theurge8

Background: Noble

I died, after a life wasted in empty pleasures. Before the Lord of the dead I stood to be judged, unworthy. And yet He raised me up and breathed life back in my body, to serve and to punish. He gave me the power to take what I needed from those who had stolen their power from the Gods, to destroy them with their own twisted faith. In giving He took nothing away, and so I continue to walk the path of my own power even as I serve His. And when His enemies have knelt before His throne I will kneel with the last of them and pass once again away into his Kingdom to dwell forever under His gaze.

Ah, the Ur-Priest/Mystic Theurge build.

I guess we won't see that again in 4th edition ;)
(But it's not really that powerful, especially in play-by-post games. The main strength (a massive amount of spells) is only useful when you have more than a handful of unavoidable encounters per day. Mostly it just increases the number of encounters the character can have without resting.

I actually had a thought about playing a Dry Lich servant of Anubis, but I didn't want to play copycat to you, so I had to go with my backup plan. :)

If the game had been 22nd level or higher I would have gone with a completely different character, but the concept wouldn't work without 9th level spells.

No MIC unless you detail what the items do or it is obvious, as I don't have access to it. I'll adjudicate on an individual level, spells from the SC are a-ok.

Nephtys, an Ur-priest is fine, after having read your background.

Nac Mac Feegle, you build characters after my own heart. Your items are just variants of regular items so that's no problem. Everything looks okay except the dragonhide full plate, for 2 reasons.

1: no dragons around
2: nothing heavier than light armor, this includes any variants of anything heavier than a chain shirt. Also note that mithril and so on don't exist, this is bronze age stuff.

Also, if you want the returning from death escort, stick to 2. (This is mostly done to keep the spotlight on the players.)

Actually... if you use the MIC for reference on magic item creation now certain common enchantments do not accrue extra cost for being combined. Stat modifiers as long as they are applied to items of suitable slot locations are one of those thus the +6 con would be at normal cost and there wouldn't be any increase. That of course would have to be approved by Brazeku as the volunteered DM though.

Missed this one: Standard item creation rules, not MIC.

Just so people dont' have to mull over my character sheet to figure out what role I'm trying to fill, it's basically a tracker/rogue-ish build. He will be capable of damage, but only around 6d6 worth. But....... he should make one hell of a scout. lol

Avalon: Those books are fine, and a dervish would be great.

Nac Mac Feegle: the dragonhide plate still has to go. The problem isn't the enchantment, but rather that dragonhide and platemail both don't exist; it's mostly a verisimilitude thing, also partially a 'let's make dexterity better' thing.

Okay, at this point I'm cutting off the recruitment, only the people who have submitted a character concept or background are in.

Nac Mac Feegle
Nephtys
OnlytheStrong
Avalon
Shayuri
Warlocklord

The others who posted in this thread and expressed an interest in playing:

Pyrex
Hellrazor111
Steve Gorak
Direlemming?? (not sure if you wanted in)

A simple character concept is needed from each of you if you are still interested. Whichever seems most interesting gets in.

EDIT: OnlytheStrong, that bow I gave you is actually quite useful for a scout - you may take a 10 ft step, make a full attack, and then gain the skirmish bonus on each attack; I did this to give you some damage capability.
