[Epic] The Dreamers' Seal

Merris mentally commands the lammasu to use spells against the brachyureses whenever possible.

Seeing another fighting companion come to the front line, Merris fly's within thirty feet (keeping a safe distance from the ground) of Jariwyn and moves his hands through the air. Blue and red energy flow to his ally as he is increased in Strength.

Merris, suddenly aware of the newest foe, shouts out a command word in a tongue long forgotten by any living this day. An icy form of his hand rushes towards the statue-turned-brachyures and grows in size. The claw attempts to grab onto the monster and hold it in place.

Cyren wakes, as the booms of combat sound through-out the room. He finds those, who he hasn't seen in so long, fighting. Three stones begin to flicker, and begin rotating around his head.

I must help them...

I will grab the ioun stones from the air (and pocket them) and use elemental wildshape to transform into an invisible stalker as a standard action. I will use my move action to fly 30 ft. into the air to get a better summary of the battle, and to see who needs the most assistance.

The first brachyurus, who had originally spoken, snarls in challenge and leaps at the second brachyurus. He catches him unawares, slashing into the evil brachyurus' flank before issuing a terrible bite, dealing a total of 50 points of damage.

The evil brachyurus, hoping to deal with Drago before having to fight his companion, snaps viciously at Drago, snarling and tearing. He fumbles his first claw, but his second and his bite land, for 22 points.

The next brachyurus, who had been the statue, turns to the lammasus. He slashes one into pieces, which fades away, but the other eludes his grasp through the use of dimension door.

Drago spins in a whirlwind of flying kicks and rapid punches, striking true each time. He deals out a total of 196 points of damage to the beast.

The third of the original brachyuruses howls. Sulli and Ricamros are shaken by the terrible roar.

Ricamros sends a sphere of crackling electricity streaking towards the roaring brachyurus. It barely manages to get out of the way, still scorching its fur and sending static racing up and down its torso. 28 points of damage are dealt. Immediately after, he sends a flaming meteor straight into the new brachyurus, who takes 90 points of damage.

Meriss pulls back his hand and makes a motion as if throwing a stone. From it comes a terrible, reptilian, ice-coated handed with vicious claws. It hurtles toward one of the brachyuruses and latches on, and it seems for a moment as if it will keep its tenuous hold, but the brachyurus throws it free.

Robin nocks several arrows at once, releasing before firing again and again. He hits the evil brachyuruses each time, dealing 140 points of damage.

Jariwyn hits twice with the Fist of Pelor and deals a pair of mortal wounds (crits) with the Ghoulbane. 138 points of damage.

Cyren, you are aware of the following:

The speaking brachyurus is unwounded and not currently being attacked.

The evil brachyurus is very badly wounded, and being terribly hurt by Drago and Robin.

The third original brachyurus is fairly badly wounded, and being attacked by Jariwyn, Ricamros' spells, and Meriss' ice claw.

The fourth is moderately wounded and was struck by the meteor swarm.

The remaining lammasu is about thirty feet away in the air, nearby to Cyren.

Meriss silently curses as the claw misses, but is confident enough in his magical abilities that it will succeed.

Seeing that the battle is beginning to heat up, Meriss decides to pull out all of the stops. He wiggles his fingers and his body begins to stretch and thin out...and suddenly he splits in two..each half quickly grows the half that it is missing and there are two figures where the wizard had been. Meriss quickly wiggles his fingers again and everyone within a short distance of him appears to move faster.

Meriss' duplicate turns to the brachyureses and shouts a word of dark origin which roars in their ears. If any are standing still, he will point the palm of his hand at them and a bolt of lightning will shine forth aimed at them.

Terrek hears a commotion outside after not hearing anything for so long. It takes a moment for him to realize that it is battle and a moment longer to realize he may be needed. Ricamros quickly scans the situation deciding his next actions, and starts chanting again. Soon a lightning bolt strikes the fourth brachyurus from his fingers. When the lightning bolt hits it explodes in several smaller bolts that hit the other brachyuruses fighting.

Casts twinned chain lightning. 20d6 electricity damage (reflex DC 34) times two for the first target. 10d6 electricity damage times two for the rest.

The ball lightning continues to do damage to the brachyurus (15d6 electricity damage, Reflex for half DC 31), if it moved away Ricamros use a partial action to move the ball lightning towards it.

If the partial action was saved Ricamros casts a regular chain lightning.
