Epic War Hulk Badness

When I see BAB that are not full, 3/4 or 1/2, I say "here's another clueless d20 publisher who didn't understood how the rules work and who think he's being smart, S-M-R-T, and thinking outside of the box.

There was already one such thing in SaSp. I frowned upon it, and since the concept was silly, dropped it altogether.

Same here.

The one in Savage Species is a little silly, but this one gets other things to balance the BAB loss. I think it's a neat compromise, and, yes, looking outside the box.

The multiple attack stuff only helps you against multiple opponents, put a war hulk against a single tough foe and they won't do as well.

Yeah, the No time to think - thing sucks. This PrC won't be good in epic after all for the player I thought.

Well, he probably then does Wizard and then some PrC for wizard.

No Time to Think really focusses the PrC on combat monsters, which I think really helps the concept of it. I love PrCs that introduce restrictions, as they tend to have the strongest concept behind them. It means that not just anyone will take it, you'll really have to be playing a character who's already like that, and you want to become more so.

Hey, wait a sec! No BAB? Uh huh... that's what they tried to pull off with the halfling outrider, too. :D

I really like this class. It's brimming with flavor, from the "no mental skills" to the huge strength increases.

Halfling outsider was a mistake, though. They admitted that it should have received a BAB, but it was cut accidentally.

Well, sorta.

The author said it was intentional, but WotC added BAB increases in errata.
