This is the book I wish was released first!
Here's the lowdown on the previous EQ RPG books:
* EQ PHB: Not worth making compatible with D&D PHB.
* EQ MM: Unispiring monsters. Lik 30HD mermaids.
As for the EQ DMG (EQ Game Masters Guide), it's a campaign book, GM advice, new mechanics and treasure supplement. Boo-yeah! AFAIK, it can be integrated into a D&D campaign quite easily. The Faction rules would make organizations and locales stand out more in a D&D game ("I'd like some training from the local thieve's guild." "Hmm... Well your faction standing is zero so they ask you for a Quest first..."). The Trade Skills might end up as skills for the NPCs. Magic looks like a bunch of colorful misc magic items.
Anyone else own and/or played it?
Cedric.
aka. Washu! ^O^
