Well, I really don't know what to make of this. But if it introduces new people to the joys of pen n' paper gaming, it can't be a bad thing. Can it? I guess we'll see.

I'm decidedly optimistic about this.

I went to an EQ Fan Faire in Baltimore last year and White Wolf was courting Verant about making an MMORPG based on the WW worlds. The last time I checked there were 400,000 subcriptions to EQ. Even when you consider that some of the players have more than one account that is still a huge fan base.
