I also invented Ryan Dancey, the concept of "managing a brand" and also 3rd Edition. It's actually all an elaborate hoax. Look really carefully at your "3E" PHB -- you'll see that it's just random cut-and-paste from 2E's PHB plus some stuff from Combat & Tactics 2E and Player's Option 2E, and some stuff from Alternity.
