ESD question

re The ESDs that need to be joined by winsplit.

When I join them, the resulting file appears on my computer with the generic Windows Icon, not an Adobe icon. Acrobat Reader doesn't see it as an adobe file, though it loads the file just fine. Anybody else notice this?

I was wondering if there was a way to modify this, so the ESD appears as a normal adobe file?

7) Photoshop icons can be found in the photoshop or acrobat executable ("D:\Program\Photoshop 7.0\Photoshop.exe" for example).

Rename

Simply rename the file with the extension .pdf
(right click on the file and select rename from the pop-up menu.)

Winsplit does not, for some reason, properly preserve the extension when files are split and rejoined.

*you can do what Psionicist suggests but I personally would not. Suppose that some future program decides to use the extension .esd?
