Ethos for Anarch Paladin

First Post
I have done a ton of background prep on a new character idea for a homebrew campaign including some stories and background timeline - but that aside the build is for a Chaotic Neutral Paladin / Divine Champion of Erevan Ilesere (god of mischief, change, and rogues) also known as the fey jester or the Jack of Seelie court - the idea is creating a champion for the faerie who have been routed from the forest and inslaved (in our world)

the DM has since asked me to develop a code of conduct or ethos for the anarch paladin class...which has stumped me - I'm looking for some help there

this is one of the first times I've tried playing a "non-good" character and in truth this one is gonna have a lot of free spirit but at the same time I want the character to "belong" with the party and not fall into the typical chaotic neutral "I'll do what I want when I want" attitude

In a nutshell I'm looking for your thoughts on the code/ethos?

Always allow the individual choice, never press them towards what is "right" or "wrong".

Favor freedom always over law.

Free the oppressed and leave their choices to them afterward.

It's alright to side with good, or evil for a time, but don't stay for too long

For more "tips" check out the Paladin of Freedom in the Unearted Arcana/SRD and apply the same lessons to all people.
