sniffles said:My fiancee is currently playing a character inspired by the image Seeten is using as an avatar.
I'm often inspired by artwork, but for characters I tend to be inspired by miniatures. I got tired of trying to find the perfect mini for my character, and instead decided to let the mini come first and build the characters to suit.
I have an awful lot of of characters in cases at home waiting for opportunities to come out and play.![]()
I know you didn't do it, silly - it's not good enough to be your workKlaus said:Faiths of Eberron, but I didn't do it.
Cool!!Seeten said:My Avatar is the Fighter 1/Paladin 4/Pious Templar 3 I play in my real world game. Anastasia Winterheart. I always pick a picture and mold the character to the art. I also painted a beautiful miniature of the character. I'll post a pic of that here at some point.
Not a full-bodied one, but there's a half-orc in heavy armor in this picture: http://www.enworld.org/Pozas/Pictures/Wallpapers/cc2_wp.jpg that could easily be seen as a Paladin.Nyaricus said:I know you didn't do it, silly - it's not good enough to be your work
Still, you should sue them - they obviously took your idea![]()
Have you done a picture of a Orc Paladin at all? That OP I had was the original inspiration, but boy, if you had a pic that was half as cool as that...
I also really liked your Orc Cleric, and Human Knight. Both are awesome pieces

Neat, that won't work for my PC, but it makes me want to use that for a Gray OrC NPC in my FR game sometime in the futureKlaus said:Not a full-bodied one, but there's a half-orc in heavy armor in this picture: http://www.enworld.org/Pozas/Pictures/Wallpapers/cc2_wp.jpg that could easily be seen as a Paladin.
Nyaricus said:I come from an artsy sort of background; I've been drawing since I was 4 years old and can competently draw my own pieces and copies of pretty much anything Wayne Reynolds has drew.
Given that, I also have a really active imagination and get inspired from time to time with artwork. As of late, I've been working on a new character for an open book campaign I'll be playing in, and I was looking for a holy warrior who was decent at healing. Looking through my books to get some feats and whatnot, I happened upon Races of Destiny and it's awesome cover with that half-orc paladin, and it hit me: this was to be my character. A rough and tumble, grumbly, devoted, virtuous half-orc paladin in all his oft-disputed glory.

Since you are shamelessly self-promoting yourself, how much would a color one cost (based upon my OP picture)?Klaus said:May I remind you that I *am* taking requests now. A B&W full-body portrait is just US$30 away through PayPal.
Also, I have a line of stock art PDFs debuting this week at Your Games Now, called Pozas Art Packs. Each release contains 5 high-quality images. Check out the link in my sig.
