D&D General EverQuest's Norrath via D&D. Any good conversions?

I never got the EQ RPG Freeport book but having not played the computer game I was a bit interested to see how it compared to Green Ronin's Freeport which through the OGL showed up in multiple settings I own.

They're both hives of scum and villainy, but as I recall, the EQ Freeport book would need a lot more elbow grease to use in a game than any of the various Freeport gazetteers over the years.
