Everyone have the new Dragon?

I'm a bit relieved to see this thread. I have not yet received mine either. Figured it was another lost issue (it would have been my second one this year) but I guess I'll wait a bit longer before requesting a replacement from Paizo.

Did the distributor change (or is that "change again"?). Last year it seemed like I would receive mine the day, maybe two, after the contents were reported here. Lately I've been getting mine at least a week after my sister does (who is ~500 miles away).

Well, officially, this is what Paizo's site says...

Cover Date Sep 2004
Ships to Subscribers Aug 03, 2004
Appears on Newstands Aug 24, 2004

So if you're seeing 323 in your FLGS, they're selling them about 2 weeks early. That's something Paizo may want to look into.
Actually, the newstand date is the date they should appear in mass market outlets (Barnes & Nobles, bookstores, etc) not at your FLGS. The FLGS gets them through the game distributers, while newstands and other mass market outlets get them through a magazine jobber, like Hudson News or something similar. Thats why the newstand date is a few weeks later.

I have not received mine yet, either. I don't see that this is a sign I should be concerned or cancel my sub. I mean, subscribers get a pretty good discount off the cover price. So what if you get it a week or two after the stores?

That gets into the whole time is money thing.

If I'm saving money, but want the magazine now, do I buy it twice or do I hope that Piazo realizes that they are doing their subscribers a disservice and start delivering the magazines earlier again?

Me neither. I normally see my subscription copy about a week or so after people here start posting the contents. Not too bad of a lag.
I haven't seen mine, either, and I usually get it 2 days after people start reporting here on the boards... Weird.

Hmm...

Haven't seen mine either. I used to get them less than a week after they shipped according to Paizo's site. I actually for the first time had to request a replacement for #322. I'm hoping that I won't have to do it again. The guy I spoke with at Paizo said something to the order of 5 -15 days after the release date normally. I wonder if anyone at Paizo reads these boards....

Personally, I take it as a bit of slight. I used to get it before the stores, and now I don't. I'm a loyal customer, and have maintained a subscription for years, but it feels like I'm being taken for granted. My sale was a reliable chunk of cash upfront that's earning them interest, discount or not. Every other magazine I subscribe to arrives either prior to general distribution, or roughly parallel. In the last six months, Paizo's distribution has gone rapidly downhill.

It's a good thing that their customer service has improved, as there's more cause to use it, continually. My eternal quest to get my subscription copy of Undefeated #7 continues, even as they helped me get Dungeon 112, which I missed due to my mistake, not theirs. Dungeon and Dragon arrive later and later, it seems. Friends who subscribe years later than I did but live in the same area, tend to get the magazine a week before I do, sometimes.

I'm not 'cancel my subscription' upset, but I am miffed. It just is troublesome that as Paizo improves the content and fixes their customer service, their fullfillment seems to get worse.

Ah, this is a very good point.

I'm keepin' the faith. Most of the time, I get my issues before they hit the stands, so I'll chalk this up as an aberration (hopefully not an aboleth).

...

LAMEST JOKE EVAR! :D

Nothing here yet. :( This is the fourth, maybe fifth issue that seems to be late, but maybe I'll have a surprise in the mailbox when I get home tonight.
