Exotic WP w/o martial WP

Note that it does not list "Marital Weapon Proficiency" as a prerequisite so we can ignore that particular house rule for this argument.

Who said martial weapon prof was a prereq of exotic weapon prof? Oh, nevermind. I see it. :o

Durf. I keep mixing up the 'rules' and 'house rules' forum. :o

By the rules, the EWP would let you use it both one-handed or two-handed. The EWP lets you use it one-handed per the rule, and when you can use a weapon of your size category one-handed, you can always use it two-handed, no special talent necessary. (As has been correctly stated above.)

The only prereq listed for EWP is a BAB of +1 or higher. Because of the oddness of the feat pair that let you use weapons like the bastard sword, I would add a MWP prereq for EWP (bastard sword). But that is a house rule & doesn't deserve to be mentioned here. My bad.

Aha. Good point. Then I'll side with "you only need EWP". Seems like the only option. (I forgot you can always use a one-handed weapon two-handed).
