Expeditions to the Craters.

Stanfor had become distracted when the light show started, standing in the middle of the street gazing up in wonder.

"Ooooh, ahhh," he voiced in wonder.

As the sky lit up like noon, the kender jumped up and down in exclamation. "He recreated The Cataclysm! This is great it is like I am really there!" he shouted trying to be heard over the deafening explosions and mayhem. The weird burning metal rain filled with fish started and he watched as one flopped about on the ground.

Suddenly a large fox of deep burgundy jumped out from under a table and attacked the fish with gusto. It had a unique saddle and harness fixed to it that jingled as he worried at his meal.

"Illikk! There you are!" Stanfor exclaimed, "I knew you couldn't resist crashing a party!"

Before the kender could reunite with his long lost friend there came a group of female screams, as three young girls ran past him, nearly knocking him to the ground. Spun around a little the kender came face to face with a nasty goblin wielding a nastier crude sword. Waving it high the goblin continued his chase of the girls which led straight towards the bewildered cleranger.

Grasping his hoopak in both hands he held it before him and started to twirl it end over end like a big fan. "Hey! Leave those poor girls alone, or by Arwan I'll...I'll! Just leave them BE!" As he spoke a low eerie whistling sound started up from the weapon he twirled. It grew louder and louder as he spun it faster and faster, until it finally shrieked out shrilly just as Stanfor cried BE!

"Hey big guy! Over here!" Stanfor calls towards Crag. The kender keeps twirling his staff trying to keep the goblin at bay.

OOC: Maybe that will help lower the DC or give him a +2 or something

Aylana worries about this attack. For all its chaos there still a disturbing amount of order. She's already seen dozens of goblins from her hiding place and thus she figures there must be a hundred or more of them. Someone who can command over a hundred goblins to act together is a force to be reckoned with.

Peaking out of her tent she sees a few people attacking the goblins randomly but that's no way to stop them from destroying the town. "Oh dear," she says as she sees a half-orc looking around like he cannot see any goblins around. Not even the one running up behind him. He turns the wrong way as a halfling distracts him with a goblin near him. Without thinking, Aylana steps from her hiding place and runs toward the tall man, "Behind you," she shouts as she raises her staff and intones mystic words. A ball of mud appears in her and and she throws it, past the warrior, heading toward the goblin running at him from behind.

OOC: Casting mudball, ranged attack [roll0] sigh
damage [roll1] plus blinded for 1 round or nothing

"Damn," Aylana shouts as the man follows the trajectory of the mud ball, as it also passes the goblin. "Get him," she commands, pointing to the goblin who is less than twenty feet away from him by now.

Crag's attention was pulled every which way. A little boy called to him, drawing his attention one way, then a little girl threw a mud ball at him from another. He looked at her confused, "Is it play time?" he thought. He noticed her insistently pointing at something, so Crag looked and spotted the sneaky goblin and tried to smash it under the weight of his greatsword.
