sounds like an interesting book you have there coming out in march. no new feats or classes or spells or magic items...but full of enough crunch to keep us DM's busy for a long time in helping to flesh out our campaigns.

This sounds really good. Be easier to carry around instead of a stack of books on medieval history to find out this information.

Yes, it should be much much easier to carry around than the 60 or so books we used for the majority of the research.. :)

Will there be a bibliography?

I read the description of the book on your site and you cover a great many subjects. I particularly like part about population and the relationship to farming.

Yes there will be a bibliography, but it will be by name of book (not following bibliography SOP about listing by author's name) so it won't be by subject. You should be able to pick out the ones you'd be interested in, as they're fairly obvious.

We've put a lot of work into this and i think it most definitly shows. Hopefully this is going to surprise a lot of people. Getting the word out, of course, is the hardest part.

Getting the word out is always difficult. Will there be a preview pdf?

I'm just full of questions tonight, aren't I.:D

heh, yes. :) In a few days we're going to put the entire city generation system up as a PDF preview so people get an idea of what we've got going on. Once our layout gets to that section (a few days) it will go up and we'll post here to let everyone know.

We've aimed our stuff towards the older gamer (25+). We're providing tools that should have been provided years ago. We're helping GMs simulate medieval surroundings (city, manor, kingdoms) after taking into consideration D20 magic. This way GMs have some tools for running games that revolve less around personal power (magic items, spells) and more around complex social issues in a society. This way the PCs can become part of the society as opposed to mostly staying outside the society.

I am definitely going to buy this. Most of the books I have on my bookshelves concern ancient and medieval warfare. Plus a few about castles and knights.

The city generation preview will be great to see.
