Is this similar to the True Strike spell?

If so... I would say yes... all of your BAB (uo to +5) goes to AC, then the Spell adds +20 to your next attack.

Along the same lines as expertise? ie. -5 to damage for a +5 to attack?

So, let me get this straight... your player wants to have a really good AC, and be able to hit with his attacks, but not do any damage (relatively)?

Sure... why not...

Unerrying strike, Expertise and Power attack!

I shall -10 off my attacks and get normal damage and +5 ac!
