fable: frying pan?

anyone know what's up with the frying pan, I found it and um its a weapon that does 0 damage and has 0 enhancemnt slots. But the guild leader said some ambiguos coment about finding its use.


By the way overall I like fable. It's too short, and I have some minor issues with it, but its a blast to play.

The frying pan should do little initial damage but have 4 expansion slots. Did you find all the clues?

no I only had clue 2,4,5,6 really all I needed was 2 and 6, 4 and 5 just confused me. Do the other clues somehow give it expansion slots? Cause it has 0 in my game.

You need all the clues. If you find the pan without all the clues, it's a piece of junk. If you find it after all the clues, it does 100-something damage and has four slots. Great if you are playing a will user... mana and exp augmentations, yum.

that is perhaps the dumbest thing I ever heard of. Oh because I figured it out quicker I get screwed, great idea in game design. Its not that big if a deal since master weapons have 3 slots but still its really dumb.

Yeah it is dumb. But it doesn't matter. There is always the Solus Greatsword, or if you are evil

you can always keep the sword of Aeons. It's by far the best.

. The frying pan is just a let down after getting all those clues and hoping for something awsome... It's still awsome if you're mostly a will user though, I guess.
