Faith the Vampire Slayer Tv show?

I would rather see him put all his effort into getting Firefly back on TV. One season of that was better than anything he did in the 7 of Buffy or the 5 of Angel.

That is JMO of course. :p

Strange you should say that. That is one of my least favorite eps ever.
I follow. Note that I had never seen it before but had seen most of the other 3rd season episodes and all of the seventh season. What I found great about the episode was that it was the missing piece of a puzzle that had been nagging at me.

I also agree that we don't need Joss to revisit the Buffyverse again, but I will add how incredibly fun it is for me to catch and watch the handful of season one-to-three episodes that I had never seen.

When we see Simon and Jayne and Kaylee do a romantic triangle musical number, then he will have surpassed everything he did in Buffy, but not before :)

I doubt it. Moving from the small screen to the big silver screen is a one-way promotion. If the movie bombed, we'll never see Firefly/Serenity again. If the movie is a hit, then we'll see sequel films.

Rarely do we see a movie demoted to a TV series, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Actually, despite the fact that if Serenity does well there should be two sequel movies to follow (I think the actors were in a 3-movie deal, as is so prevalent nowadays), I remember reading somewhere that Joss' eventualy plan was to garner enough support to bring Firefly back as a TV series. And, personally, I'd rather have my 22 episodes of Firefly a year than a movie every couple of years.

I think what would be awesome is if they did a series just on Sweet the Demon...

I don't know about that, but I do think a showdown between Lorne and Sweet could be blast. A wicked mad music smack-down with song and dance numbers (and possibly Numfar doing the dance of shame) has a lot of potential.
