I go to the movies almost once a week, and I have noticed that it does not matter if the movie is considered 'mainstream' (or not) in relation to it sucking. Some of my all time favorites are considered mainstream by some. *shrug*

Also remember just because a lot of people like Armageddon and you happen not too, does not make it a bad movie either.

Oh and for the record, I will be seeing Once upon a Time, loved Desperado. Scary Movie 3, liked the first 2 and have heard good things about this one, and Matchstick Men, this just looks like a good film to me.

However, I just can't see why anyone would want to sit and see Tom Cruise pretend he is a Samurai. I just can't picture him in this movie at all. Can't do it.

I'm very interested. Mainly because Cruise makes entertaining films. I don't know much about the director, Edward Zwick but his body of work isn't bad.

Hmm. How is it different than when Richard Chamberlain starred as Blackthorne in Shogun mini-series?

P.S. Is Shogun available on DVD?

I saw a preview of American Splendor which I highly recommend to everyone, and I am looking forward to seeing Lost in Translation, Underworld, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, and Bubba Ho-Tep.

Oh no, not another movie with the title "American....." in front of it. Why is it that producers feel it necessary to put "American" in front of movie titles. Why not "Splendor" or "Beauty" or "Pie" or "Graffiti" etc....Seems to me that they are capitalising on patriotism at the expense of giving the movie a decent and "ORIGINAL" title. Sorry, was this a Rant ??? Cheers All.... :)
