Playing a game, your learn about that game. Or new additions or changes to it.
You may learn quick. You may learn slow. But you might learn about things you don't like. And then a new shiny (version of that) game comes along, and its starts all over again.
It happens.
Now, on to this issue of supplements.
One reason you might like a game is for the ability to check out other stuff for it. Its a feature, potentially.
Say you have an album (showing my age) from a band you like. You want to get more, and hopefully also like them. Maybe you don't, and just have that one album, but it limits how much you will get out of that band. And you may tire of it.
