I agree, all good spells.
Okay, so let me give you some more data and get an opinion.
I am creating a 10th level illusionist that will end up taking all 5 levels of shadowcraft mage. So, can't ban illusion obviously.
One of the banned schools is evocation (since I can duplicate these as shadow spells).
I am torn on the other one. I need enchantment unfortunately, since he is taking one level of mind bender and needs to be able to cast charm person to get into that class. I think, but-for that Mindbender level, I'd opt for enchantment as the banned school for sure, as the spells just are not my kind of thing.
Conjuation is useful for spells like dimension door and teleport (though I can duplicate the creation and summoning spells with shadow spells). Abjuation is important for things like Dispel Magic and Break Enchantment. Divination cannot be eliminated. And Trans has a lot of really useful utility spells like fly and the various form-changing spells and such.
So, that leaves Necromancy. Are false life and enervation and command undead and ray of enfeeblement and some of the other neat necromancy spells (like the one that melee touch attacks into ranged touch attacks) better than dispel magic + break enchantment? Better than Dimension Door + Teleport?
